So, Liberal Candidate and former Indi MP, Sophie Mirabella said tonight that there was $10m earmarked for the Wangaratta Hospital - although not publicly announced - by the Abbott government that was subsequently withdrawn when Cathy McGowan won the seat.
I also remember reading in Tony Windsor's book that Barnaby Joyce told him about huge sums of money that had been earmarked for projects in New England - including the Armidale Hospital - but had been withdrawn after Windsor announced he wouldn't stand at the 2013 election. To my knowledge, Joyce has never denied this conversation took place.
On the one hand, this was all under Tony Abbott's leadership and he is no longer PM. On the other hand, has much changed under Malcolm Turnbull?
Let's #MakeMurrayMarginal, it's the only way to counter this vindictive governing style.
