Â
I had a busy day today - I first visited Burton's IGA in Euroa and pencilled myself in to hand out flyers and canvass for signatures outside their premises on Thursday from approx. 3pm until close. Then I went to Food Works in Violet Town and booked in to do the same on Friday.
Next, I chatted to a few businesses in Shepparton and Mooroopna about putting up some of my corflute signs. Mostly, the people I needed to speak to weren't present, so I left a card - hopefully they'll give me a call tomorrow. The servo in Tatura allowed me to put a sign on their fence, for which I'm most grateful. I then continued on to Nathalia and Numurkah looking for sites, although by that time it was after 5pm.

I also collected another four signatures throughout the day - as I've probably mentioned previously, the AEC requires me to pay $1000 and have 100 people from the electorate sign a form to say that I should be allowed to stand, before my name will appear on the ballot paper on July 2.
Several people who have signed haven't entered their details as they appear on the electoral roll - if you need to check/update your details with the electoral commission, you can do so on their website.
