Jamestrong Opening

 
I got to attend the grand opening of the new Jamestrong can manufacturing line in Kyabram this morning.

When I talk about 'appropriate industry', I'm referring to world class businesses like Jamestrong, creating jobs without radically changing the culture of our towns or the local environment.
 

This afternoon I'm visiting the Torrumbarry Weir, there's a great little info centre here that presents a good mix of Aboriginal, settler and modern environmental and agricultural history.

Next, I'll be heading to the north west of the electorate to do some letterboxing.
